I dont think its got anything to do with increased security. I believe its when "mod users" decide to update the mod using the actual playstore version. Or they installed a mod on the actual appstore version. You dont install a mod to thr game and decide to update the mod from a place you didnt...

Everyone who is having facebook connection problems. Delete facebook then try logging in.

I can still play the game without the update. It said once for me that theres new content in the update etc and It didnt force me to update.

Unistall Facebook and hogwarts mystery completely. Then go install the modded version which is available on here and connect to Facebook. See if that works. If it does work, In the future, be more patient as it takes time to update a modded game.

Did you update the game on a different mod site or the app store itself. If you did that and not wait for the update on here thats a bit stupid.

Did you just get the mod? If so, to connect to Facebook you have to delete Facebook then connect.

Everyone needs to be patient, it takes ages to update the mod as the modder has to redo it.
