I hope someone tries to mod this game, it was possible before, I can recall when it wasnt officially open to sea players, I was able to play a modded version of this game not until the update the mod was never updated..

How to I even install it over the original app if there's no unsigned apk available?

Calculation seemed a bit off, I tried the 1.25x Not to mention the 3x Atk speed gave me 900% Atk speed With my base Atk speed 107% * 1.25 should've been 133% but the mod gave me 215% (which is 2x speed)

The devs disabled Facebook log in because of endless reports of people using mods, actually even I seen people literally walking too fast even in town which made it too obvious, A quick fix is for you to send an inquiry in their Facebook page to let you log in via Facebook,

They disabled the Facebook logins I thin because of the reports of people abusing the mod, you could literally see them zooming in and out of the maps which mad it too obvious, it also happened in the original app I couldn't log in via Facebook, but Google log in works fine
