You getting a virus warning about a mod? In most cases, that's a false positive. The most reason is some modders protect their mods to prevent someone leeching their code, but protection caused anti-virus to be confused and flagged the mod APK as a virus There are modding websites that...

You're on a modding website, technically every single file could be infected. If you want 100% safe mods, only download our "Exclusive" mods. Shared mods CAN and WILL have stuff in them, however, in 90% of all cases it's false-positives due to protections used against leeching.

Last but not least, "riskware," "adware", "pup", "unwanted applications" has nothing to do with viruses. They are, as their name says, unwanted stuff. Thats a lot different to actual infected files which contain actual harmful viruses/malwares/trojans.

1) where did I tell you that this file is NOT infected? Read my comment again.

3) My points still stands. You're in the shared section of a modding forum. If you can't deal with the risk of potential infected files, don't download it. 70% of all files here will have detections. Even our own, selfmade mods will trigger several detections depending on the mod.

4) Just because a security provider detects something, doesn't mean its true. If you would read the thread created by AndnixSH then you would know, that some companies/devs PAY security providers so that mods will be detected as something bad, even if they aren't.
