I have a question, am I able to play in the modded version (with every feature disabled***) the world tournament? Or do I need to download the normal version to avoid a ban?

They only seem to care about WT, so I don't recommend using the mod. All other events are fine at least I never got banned even when using an almost full saibaman team to clear Ultimate Clash in my early Dokkan days or using level 1 units to clear some Challenge category Missions.
