>Devs patch the mod and/or improve anticheat (or even server side stuff)


If you are not satisfied with the current situation, then mod it yourself and use the multipliers you want, to your hearts content. You have that option available.
You mentioned the ultimate goal; right? You can start working to achieve it!
You won't make progress if you don't start trying btw.


And btw, now that you have opened the discussion, allow me to add this: you won't achieve true freedom so long as you depend on others, because that means you are not only bounded with your circumstances, but to other's decisions/conditions too.
