No, your login data should be intact since this methode only removing the app without affecting the data files. Since renaming the folders make it so that the app can't access them, unless you rename it back.

Does not work for me, it says not enough storage to install. I have over 40GB storage left.

Does it persist when you try installing another app ? If it does, that space might be used by the system to build cache data.
That error never happens to me, so I am not quite sure how to solve it.
