During a Full Marks event (which has been running since Monday evening), you're automatically enrolled in the event from the second you log in, even if you don't actively participate. Which means using that hack will cause that error to appear at any time.

We don't recommend playing the game until Full Marks ends, because if you or anyone else in your group gets reported, you have an increased risk of getting banned. This event ends on July 7th at 9pm UTC. Best to stop playing the game until then.
