How can I login on FB to link my current progress into it because I just bought a new phone and I don't intend to replay from Y1 since I reached Y7 now.

I don't have the FB app ( never had it) and when I try to link it it goes back to a black screen and stays there forever.

Follow the instructions on the original post on page 1. Alternatively, read the guide below. Do not skip any steps under any circumstances, they have to be followed to the letter.

Thanks for giving me the explanation but as I understand it only is good if you already had an FB account linked on it with a game save.

Unfortunately for me it's the opposite. I never bothered linking my game to a FB account since I never needed it because I always playing on the same phone I use for anything else. But like I said on my prev post I recently bought a new phone so I'm gonna give my old phone away thus why I want to link my progress to an FB account for the first time.

The explanation you posted tells me to delete cache and game data and then the game after which I need to install a version below 5.2.2 but doing that I'll lose all progress since my current game isn't linked to anything?

We generally recommend backing up your save on Facebook before you start modding for the first time. If you're still signed into your current account on the vanilla version of the game, link it to your Facebook now. You don't even need the Facebook app to do so, you can just make an account and sign in using your phone's web browser, like Chrome or Firefox. Then you can go through the process of unequipping your in-game cosmetics, clearing your cache, installing v5.2.2, etc.

I don't see how I can have both version on my phone ( modded and play store) ?

But yes I agree I should have made a backup incase of something like this happening but back then I was sure I wasn't going to play this game much since I already played it once many many years ago when it just came out and made it there to y3 or 4 I think but stopped playing it until like a month ago.

I guess I don't have any option than to keep this phone currently OR just make a new game save on my new phone and link that one to FB on the original play store link first.

Pero sí, estoy de acuerdo en que debería haber hecho una copia de seguridad en caso de que algo así sucediera, pero en ese entonces estaba seguro de que no iba a jugar mucho a este juego ya que lo había jugado una vez hace muchos años cuando recién salió y llegó a y3 o 4, creo, pero dejé de jugarlo hasta hace como un mes.

Supongo que no tengo otra opción que mantener este teléfono actualmente O simplemente crear un nuevo juego guardado en mi nuevo teléfono y vincularlo a FB en el enlace de Play Store original primero.

Hola estuve leyendo lo que te pasa y creo que lamentablemente no puedes hacerlo, por experiencia propia te comento que el progreso que usas en el juego oficial y el juego modificado son diferentes, hasta el momento no puedes conectar una cuenta creada en el juego modificado y luego conectarla a Facebook, creo que es imposible, es por eso que el método conocido para poder hacerlo en estos momentos requiere tener una cuenta creada en el juego oficial y conectarla a Facebook, para luego intentar usarla en el juego modificado.
Lamentablemente me paso lo mismo y hasta el momento no hay solución en ese caso, solo empezar desde cero.
La única forma de hacerlo por lo que han dicho aquí es que tienes que contactar con soporte para poder hacerlo, así ya tienes una idea por donde va ese camino , no es bueno ya que estas jugando ilegalmente.

The same thing happened to me too and in fact I have been commenting on it these days, that the guides they showed did not work.

It turns out that you have to follow the steps indicated by G-bo on the main page, where you download the latest version of the mod and version 5.2.2.
In these steps it is indicated that you have to install the latest version of the mod, if you have progress without logging into Facebook (that is, saved on the device) you will have to go to the settings where you always save manually, and click on new game.
Once you confirm restarting the game, exit immediately and delete the latest version mod, and install version 5.2.2

It's complicated to explain but, it turns out that when you do that, when you enter version 5.2.2, the mod this time will give you the option "later" since you don't have progress on the device and thanks to that you don't The message about just updating will appear, as has happened to many of us, since you have restarted your progress on the device and you have to create your avatar again.

It is now when you have to connect your account to Facebook with version 5.2.2 of the mod and you can log in easily.
After that you have to simply update the mod to the latest version again, without deleting version 5.2.2 of course.

2 IMPORTANT THINGS

1. You have to have an account already connected to Facebook in the official play store game previously to be able to log in to the mod (I assume you know this but just in case I'll warn you).
2. I recommend that you change the clothing and hairstyle of your avatar in the Facebook account already created, before doing this entire procedure.
Since it may cause an error when connecting to Facebook in version 5.2.2, put him in the simple tunic from your Hogwarts house, remove all his accessories and give him an old hairstyle.

None! Use BrianPo's Game Guardian guide to edit your EXP for each attribute to 200,000. Congratulations, you're near max level and you don't have to worry about grinding ever again!
