I've accidentally gotten 10,000 energy and played the full marks events. I'm new to this.

Does this mean I'll get banned soon?

From what I've seen, going over 600 energy doesn't get you banned, it just puts a flag on your account. This flag will sort you with other flagged accounts in multiplayer events. It can actually be useful; I accidentally logged in during the last FM, and was in a group with a bunch of other modded accounts, so less chance of people reporting each other.

Edit: to clarify, you still shouldn't log in during Full Marks or participate in House Pride, it's the easiest way to get reported and banned. But the flag may actually be beneficial if you find yourself in that situation.

It pays to never log in before checking their Reddit and Discord for any FM or HP currently running.

It's one of their most reliable means of catching cheaters, so yeah. They do it on purpose. I recommend that every day between 4pm and 6pm EST, it's best to stop playing the game and periodically check things like the subreddit or one of the Discord servers. That's usually when these events start.

That's why you should give top priority to things like TLSQs. With cheats, you can bang out a whole quest in roughly 20 minutes if you're consistent about it and saving often.

I've got in the habit of using the gems cost 0 hack to increase the timer for TLSQs to more than 7-8 days if I don't intend to finish it right away, so that the timer doesn't run out in the event of a surprise full marks.

I keep telling myself I'm going to extend the timer on TLSQs as a precaution, but I always forget. So I panic and speedrun the whole quest in one sitting instead.
