I lost my data when I first started modding (I got banned hehe) so you likely will have to restart, but don't worry, years 1-3 are short :)

Excluding tlsqs in year 3 tho.

• I played up to 3rd grade without saving to Facebook. If I delete my game data, revert to version 5.2.2, and then save to Facebook, will I lose my current progress?
• If I don’t want to connect to Facebook and lose my progress, can I note my login ID and send it to tech support when I change devices? Would this risk getting my account banned?
• If I switch devices and want to connect to Facebook, do I need to use version 5.2.2? When connecting, will it prompt me to upload my current save or download a cloud save from Facebook? Will syncing fail if I'm using a modded save?

3. You can still link to fb with the vanilla version and then log-in through FB link on mod ver. 5.2.2.

1. Yes. That's why it says in big, bold, red text on the first page: "It is highly recommend to get sure your account is saved to Facebook BEFORE you start using the mod!" If you ignored that, it's your own fault. Hope you're ready to play through Y1-Y3 again.
2. Once you start modding, you cannot contact Jam City support under ANY circumstances. Even if you switch back to the vanilla client to submit a report, they will analyze your account and see all the discrepancies that come with using mods. You'll be banned in a matter of days. Guaranteed. In a similar vein, we recommend that you stop playing the game whenever a Full Marks or House Pride event begins - multiplayer events like those are another way that they track and ban cheaters.
3. You only need to use version 5.2.2 once per device. Once you have your Facebook save loaded and ready to go, you never have to use it again unless you get logged out of that device and you need to sign back in. Follow the guide below for specific instructions:

I won't be able to play the game for well over a month. (roughly 44 days) Since the Hogwarts Diary completely bugged and broke my game. Its stuck in a loop. And of it does somewhat loads a little it just crashes my game every time.

Is there any error message popping up, such as 'asset missing' or something like that?

I don't think the problem is with the modded apk, as I've been able to complete 4 out of the 6 pictures already without crashing. If your account is linked to facebook, you could try logging onto another client to see if that fixes the crashes. Other than that, If there's any way of you getting into the menu for the game without crashing, you could try clearing your cache as that will force the game to redownload the assets again, if that's what's causing the problem.

No theres nothing. Also i literally cant get the game menu to open because it's stuck in that Godaweful autosave. So if I do clear cache in settings. Not in the game. It throws me back in to that loop regardless.

I have already restarted the game and I still have a few questions...

1. Could using free diamonds to buy items in Brilliant Bargains or Magic Milestones Premium lead to a ban?
2. Is Puzzling Potions a multiplayer event?
3. During a Full Marks or House Pride event, does stopping the game mean I can’t log in, or that I just stop getting stars? And can I still go online to feed creatures?

Well new version means i need to either stay away from vanilla or be prepared to have it cry for update again i hope i dont need to use 5.2.2 version to login again at least when update of mod arrives.
