I'm assuming that loading your save in the vanilla app isn't helping either, then? That's usually the only way to get around crashes like that. That's why I only use the mod on my backup tablet. I have the vanilla version of the game installed on my phone so I can switch between them quickly in case of bugs.

huh so it actually keeps your save on loading black lake usually for me it doesnt save place i crash on(there was time when potions class was doing crash like this if you tried enter it at any cost and only clearing cache in game itself fixed that for my alt)

But it did keep crashing. Clearing cache didn't fix it nor datas

so you didnt use fb to save modded version so you cant try vanilla that one?

then some form of save should be seen even on vanilla(albeit mod would need to have steps in guide redone if removed and vanilla installed(vanilla itself lets you log in fb btw)

What I'm saying is to sign into your modded account on the vanilla app. Switch Facebook accounts on your other device and log into the modded save on the vanilla app, then try to progress through that section without cheats. If it works, try to finish that chapter without cheats, then save your game and resume playing on your device with the modded app. This is the #1 way to get around bugs in the mod.

I got the information I needed to hear. This is the kind of information you should tell us in the first place. The next course of action should be what Waffleman had suggested, preferably do it on your phone. Log in and log out on vanilla is pretty direct unlike when using the mod app, so you shouldn't have a problem there.

If you've done all of those, tell us again whether they work or not. If not, just wait for an update, I guess.

If you've done all of those, tell us again whether they work or not. If not, just wait for an update, I guess.

If it works i would first get out black lake and let it be somewhere where modded app can work with as well and add a bit energy enough to make sure you dont need wait in between chapters(but thats what i would usually do if vanilla works where mod crashes xD)

delete modded app and install vanilla once you are on screen where you can sign in you choose that fb account that is connected to one you want to enter black lake with.
