What value do you change? Because i tried to change the value i searched for independently but then the game crashed so then i tried to copy the xor key and paste it into the encrypted key and change the value that way but it still crashed.

While I have different method to it, but in a sense, it follows the same principle. The main value and the XOR variables (encrypted value) must be edited simultaneously or the game will crash. The instruction from our fellow BrianPo was quite clear, there shouldn't be any problem in the first place.

I honestly go for gaming laptops but maybe mine being 1k euros is too much for you perhaps a bit lower if you want gaming one idk do office based ones have virtualization and how good would they run emulator for game tho.

Check if the CPU supports Intel VT-x or AMD-V (you can find this info on the manufacturer's website). Or, just open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Performance tab, and see if 'Virtualization' is listed.
