you can always try to keep 2 version below current last update to prevent new events from coming when MP events are here.

Multiplayer events in general are continuously rerun in summer. Jam City's prime demographic (and ergo their prime money-making source) is children. In North America, children don't go to school in summer. Their parents plop them down in front of a tablet for sixteen hours a day so they get addicted to mobile games and Cocomelon. Full Marks and House Pride are among their most revenue-generating events because of their competitive nature, so they take advantage of all the kids who have access to their parents' credit cards by repeating these events week after week, because they're more likely to spend money on things like gems.

None of this is hyperbole. This is the best time of year to take an extended break from the game. Come back in early/mid September when all of the kids are back in school and you'll find that the multiplayer events have stopped.
 
And we will be finally free to breathe without constantly checking whether new MP event will come .

Not easily. v5.2.2 only exists for users who can't use the latest version to log into their Facebook save. It was one of the last versions before they introduced some new security features to block modders from signing in. Allegedly, the more recent mod updates can bypass that patch, but it's sporadic.

Either way, trying to play without getting enrolled in a multiplayer event is more effort than it's worth. Take a vacation. Play some other games. Hang out with your friends and touch grass. When September rolls around, the multiplayer events will go back to being a once-in-a-while thing and we can keep modding without getting banned.
