Help! How to Upgrade a MOD apk/obb without loosing my Savepoints/Carrer/Gamescore

Good evening dear people I am still quite new in this Berreich and have a question. Example: Every time a new version MOD version of CSR 2 Racing appears, I have to start over again and again. Is there a trick on how to install the new MOD version and the old game stand or career? I traditionally play via my smartphone (Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro with MIUI 12.3 v20.12.9 Beta Root with Magisk and Lucky Patcher 8.9.7 (also somehow not get along with the 9+ version of LP) Thank you very much.

1. Using the updated Mod from the exact same Modder - just install it.

2. Using Backup Pro & choosing apk & Data Cache (Requires Root, depending on your Device)

Basically if your phone is rooted + patched you can always install UNsigned versions of the same game above original game version - that’s how your progress won’t be deleted by uninstalling the game.

just like @GG78 mentioned as first.
