This game has no leaderboards, no PvP, no gacha, everything is unlocked by progression. Having near-unlimited currency or power just means that you just play your favourite character, with the most powerful weapon, and anything else the game offers... you just crush it until you get to the end credits after a few days and post a snotty review about how stupidly easy the game is.
A pure version with just the requirement to pay for the game being removed, well, if you want a maxed out character with stupidly overpowered weapons, you can buy and max out one of several characters, and a large number of weapons, from the tens of thousands of zenny you get from the first set of stages. There's no true paid currency, there's no RNGesus hanging over you to claim your millions of Metals as you try to pull RiCO, Everything is free except the game. But those people who want a super-mod with all the usual bells and whistles...
For Mega Man X DiVE (Nebulajoy), sure, I'd agree. But what you want as mods is akin to plugging a Gameshark into your phone.
