Help! My failures in creating a mod menu 😞

At first, I had this idea to create a mod menu template using Jetpack Compose. The goal was to give mod menus a little glow-up so they’d look more modern and up-to-date. At the start, I actually managed to get the overlay working. The disaster came when I tried to plug the mod menu into the target game and suddenly got hit with a Version Conflict. Basically, the Kotlin version I used didn’t match the one in the game. And just like that… it all fell apart.

Next, I had another idea. What if I created a Jetpack Compose alternative but in Java? And I actually managed to build another overlay-style mod menu app. The failure part was that, even though logcat showed absolutely nothing wrong, the app still force-closed, and there was zero error information in the logs.

I understand this might be happening because my skills are still pretty noob. So maybe someone here is willing to help me discuss how to figure out a solution to this problem.
