I did cheat but I also didn't go egregiously noticeable. Like I made sure to never attack people higher than my CP in contest/pvp and kept my rankings low enough in the server beyond semi-natural looking growth.

I'm not banned yet but I probably won't continue using this mod just out of fear of banning now lol (especially since I have really good progress thanks to it).
 
If you're cheating then this is how you get caught. Climbing above your current Combat power in tower. (Everyones progress is recorded to be seen by the entire server). Killing battles above your CP in events. (Progress there is also recorded to be seen publicly by everyone). Attacking others above you in Contest. Clearly while this cant be seen publicly im sure the devs will know on thier side as they must tally progress weekly and also it becomes obvious when you are above everyone in the ranking and you are weaker then the people in the same ranking.
 
My account's fine for now. I didn't attempt anything that requires more cp than my best team. In pvp, I turned everything off. Everywhere else, I kept my dmg mutiplier to x3 except for rival battle, never used def mutiplier and god mode.

Used it in event until level 35, it's fine. In other mode too including rival but I never used it in contest mode.

I think the principal is the same as MoG. As long as you don't use mod in ranking stages, you'll be fine.
