Help! Override SET method in hex

Hey it might be a stupid question I’m a beginner I managed to mod some games but All I do is to change get I’m trying to figure how to override set method in hex editor like get method or in another way I know C# if it helps and 1 more question let’s say I’ve a public int variable that equals to 0 let’s say it’s money, there is a way to change that too?
