Quick question: How can I make a purchase using this mod?
I like this game, want to atleast make a 10 dollar purchase to show some support to the developers.

You need to uninstall and install play store version. If you're rooted, make sure you backup first. Install the original version, log in (or restore backup,) make the purchase, then reinstall mod and restore backup. I don't think there is a non-root method that lets you keep your account data.

How can I back up the game? All I can see is a transfer option but I need a transfer code to do it.

I've tried switching apps before but it doesn't recognise my old account and starts a new one.

I'm too scared to go to support in case they ban me

To fully backup you will need to root your device and use an app called Titanium back up. Please note that it's been awhile since I rooted an android device so I'm not sure if there is an alternative/better app than titanium back up. Only going off my past experience with rooting.

One way I can think of, haven't tried it yet, is to install Nox player on windows and root that. Check out YouTube tuts for that. If you can, transfer your game data to the Nox android emulator and back up the game that way. Not sure on how to transfer punball data. Haven't came across much on transferring and each person had mixed results with transferring either through punball transfer code or through the game data being backed up through play games. Not sure how to get a transfer code for punball either.

You can do that with Google account. You need to download a clean apk file (from apkpure, for example) and let the game link your account to google play. Then when it does, you need to install the same clean apk on the other device (it also has to have the same system, so iOS to iOS or Android to Android), and let it link your google and download the game state. After that you can install the modded apk on both and have the same account on both devices. As long as you do something on device #1 and the game is closed on device #2, when you open the game on #2 all data should be synchronized with #1.
I did that yesterday, so I can confirm it works, though I do have a rooted device and that allowed me to easily install the modded app over the pure one.

EDIT: just saw your original question, about the purchases.If your device is rooted and you applied patches from Lucky Patcher, you should be able to just install a clean apkover the one you currently have. If you don't, you can try the Titanium Backup route, but I can't vouch it works...

I use the app Swift Backup, but Titanium works as well. You need to be rooted in order to install the mod over the store version if you want to go the Google play login method. I haven't tried the in-game transfer method yet, so I don't know if that works with the modded version. I'm not sure of its limitations and rules so I didn't trust it. Being rooted and having a backup app is the most guaranteed.
