the combat is pretty simple so i assume its server-sided like Honkai Star Rail and most turnbased game

Yep that's also my thoughts btw this game is so balance and it's 100% f2p friendly some story stages is easier to beat you don't need 6star characters to beat some hard stages 5-4 stars is only needed for that. Actually this game is pretty similar to arknights so if you played arknights before the mechanics and mats grinding is similar to it.

You can also use CE (Cheat engine) I'm not sure about it if CE can modify the game acceleration
