The setup guide is here. For step 1 in the guide you don't need to extract the files yourself, you can use the ones from here. For step 2, the modded apk from here on platinmods is fine to use, you can either rename the file extension as they suggest or use a program like 7zip or winrar to extract it. Other than that, it took me just over an hour to download all the assets and another hour to convert the textures to dds.

Some of the textures of outfits are broken (as it's a work-in-progress) but other than that you have access to all outfits in the game, and your friendship levels/attributes are automatically assumed to be maxed out as dialogue doesn't have any locks. The removed quests in earlier years still work and you can access the seasonal/removed TLSQs whenever you want.

Its a emulator specifically made for hogwarts mystery and you cant get a ban there if setup is done right unlike in normal game as devs have no say in what you do there among other things(but also i believe you have problems with there being no saves).

Ok i tried to get to see whether OpenMystery setup would work without thing that keeps getting blocked and all i got is that it wont check assets giving error instead so guess i will never be able to use OpenMystery myself. :(

Ok i tried to get to see whether OpenMystery setup would work without thing that keeps getting blocked and all i got is that it wont check assets giving error instead so guess i will never be able to use OpenMystery myself. :(

Which step isn't working for you? If needed I could send you some of the files if you are having trouble extracting them.

The reason it won't check for assets is because it uses the config files and the apk files to check all the assets that the game uses, and then it downloads all of them from the JC servers so that you have all files stored locally (as opposed to the normal game which requires a constant connection to JC servers and downloads new assets only when it needs to).

As valmort mentioned, it's an emulator specifically for hogwarts mystery. It doesn't actually use the apk to run the game (other than to get some of the config files at setup). Rather, it reads the scripts from the game and uses the unity engine to run those scripts.

It's offline (so doesn't connect to JC servers) and you have access to all clothing/hairstyles etc... Also, your attributes and friendships levels don't matter as all dialogue choices are unlocked regardless (including the impossible to pick choice with snape in year 1). Also, you can trigger any chapter/side quest/TLSQ that you want using the launcher (including the removed side quests/seasonal TLSQs).

The only downside at the moment is that it's a work-in-progress, meaning that a few of the textures of clothes don't render properly at the moment, and also the fact that it is PC only.

Whenever i try to extra zip folder from mod thats available here it doesnt wanna extract one specific file in "res" folder but maybe its jsut me copying it to other place instead of just using one i originally downloaded(i didnt wanna lose it but now it doesnt matter as new update has to come so i can try and see if it works but that will take some minutes to be extracted accoding to what my laptop says).

Here's a link to a rezip of the apk files. I'll only host it for a bit (until you download it) and then I'll remove it.

If you still can't unzip that, I'll try to post it already unzipped, but that is harder to do as there's a lot of loose files.

Still waiting at moment to unzip this version i didnt copy(apparently copy of it got barely any files because this one takes longer to be unzipped lets see if that will work. If it doesnt i will try to unzip your apk files instead.

That's due to the config files in step 1 (It did the same for me when I extracted my own files)

Use the ones from here instead.

So long as it looks like this with the 3 ticks next to steps 1, 2, and 3 you're fine:

After it looks like that, you click "check assets" first, then update assets.

That takes a while (over an hour). After that, click "convert textures to dds". Again, that takes a while to do.

Ok im on update assents and it has all 3 ticks(which i checked before clicking on check/update assets.

Une fois que cela ressemble à cela, cliquez d'abord sur « vérifier les actifs », puis sur mettre à jour les actifs.

Cela prend un certain temps (plus d'une heure). Après cela, cliquez sur « convertir les textures en dds ». Encore une fois, cela prend un certain temps.
