You gotta use fuzzy search for coins. You'll usually end up with two values. The correct one isn't the amount you currently have, but the total you've gained since you started playing. Be careful when editing coins and gems. Don't set them lower than the original value or you'll brick your save.

huh i would never set that to lower than og value i would set it higher obviously but ig its good to know for those that may think its ok to do so to know not to do it.
It's really just a friendly reminder. But for things like notebooks, pages, creature food, fertilizer, toffees and energy, you can actually set them lower than their previous amounts. I've done it with my unreasonable amount of fertilizer. I have no use for them since I practically abandon the Greenhouse for good.
