If reward is lower then you can increase but if reward is higher, then you shouldn't.Also is it safe to use reward mulriplier more than 2x? ( 5x for example)

Don't use reward multiplier for event chests.
keep in mind, don't use 2x res cheat while summoning , or opeing event chests.
