Yeah, that's the game devs, they made the XP not merge, then included exactly 1500 XP in the quests.

Yeah it was most annoying. I literally had to macro opening and selling shit just to keep getting 1700 pts to spend so I could finish.

If you are able, auto clicker is a good one to use for something like this. Its what did. had to do it a few times.
