Hi!
Well, what else do you need gems for then?
I use them to buy chests in chapters mode and for extra energy (30/40/50) in an adventure mode.. for each adventure I spend them almost to zero, and then recollect them again up to 400-500 pieces..

But, if we talk about new adventure mode (against players) then there is no any sense to spend the gems - why I should spend real gems fo extra energy if I not guarantined to get the conditional 300 gems in the end..? For ex. last adventure I took 33th place and get 75 gems - acceptable..
