Please consider that this is for free and people do this in their freetime, unnecessary pressure doesn't help anyone
As far as I know the latest official version (no beta, experimental or something like that) still is 1.5.6, at least for me it shows 1.5.6 in the Play Store when i unsub all beta subscriptions, so all we'd need atm would be a hotfix that prevents the game from crashing at start.

I did a fresh install and completed the tutorial, but 'debug mode' isn't working.

idk it will happen. since busy and many games still need update
unlimited booster still worked , i'll look other features again.
