@xyzhunter it happened to me too. I just finished Alyssa album and upgraded at maximum all items when this happened. Maybe related to the fact of downloading the videos using the gems? Not sure but I wish there was a solution that wouldn't require to delete my progress

I guess it has something to do with gold + diamonds being too much, either way don't grind the game above 1.5.2 when you can just unlock it with the mod and only grind the secret level

First: download both 1.5.2 and latest version 1.6.2 from HERE (otherwise it can't update).

Second: Install 1.5.2 and if it doesn't have the voice over option at the very start (before you even match a single tile in tutorial), quickly uninstall and install again.
Note: I forgot what I did but i think it has to do with first being offline > open the game > you get the internet connection error > turn on your internet > click retry (in the internet anomaly error)
As I said, I forgot what exactly. Try to experiment yourself.

Third: After getting the voice over option, you can 1) quickly update to 1.6.2 or 2) cheat resources/levels first before updating
