I think that as much as the mods work practically throughout the entire game, you will get banned if you try to activate them outside of story mode

got banned a while ago, still i guess there isnt much for us to avoid. only fingers crossed.hopefully there is a trick for not getting banned, my past experience would be trying to avoid any battles which have a scoreboard
