As a person who using it in raids from launch on Nutaku and still haven't been banned, I can advise you not using it at all when helping someone in raid, as people can see battle logs of all participants of the raid and screenshot your crazy damage values. But they can also see that you didn't receive any damage (from def multiplier) or used skills every turn, right? I think it's ok to use even dmg multiplier when you are the discoverer of raid boss (I'm using it but moderately, like x10 dmg) and haven't sent help request to anyone. Still I can't guarantee anything.
