You can use hex for value too, value will not decrease while it's modified. This is easiest I could do for a guide, the downside being you do need enough to spend on something for the edit to work (until I debug that too).

Unfortunately, I am one of those "needs a newb user friendly interface" because I don't understand much of anything regarding coding or cracking or rooting, etc. I managed to manually back up my save by using FV File Manager on my android and that was a half hour struggle, so I can't imagine how long it would take me to edit my file myself. So, I'll just wait a week to reupload my save on Nintendo servers and share with you the throwaway Nintendo log in, unless it's enough for me to DM you a screenshot of my receipt and the manual files? If not, I'm fine with waiting.
