I've already tried forcing the menu to load after the game loads, setting the damage, and teleporting to the nearest tower, but it doesn't work; the characters are dealing 15 damage.

As a native platinian, you can almost just about predict developer crack downs whenever a good mod for a popular game comes out.

try change the weapon to other kevel 1 and redo the step, if its working, change to your main weapon back

Before the maintenance it had a little while ago, it was working normally. After today's maintenance, only the damage multiplier option stopped working.
