1s @ 99-50, no reason to go slower. been blasting 1s clear for 3 weeks on stages past 14-50, now every1 copies me

Hi! when I set 1s clear I get a "stage fail" error. the minimum value when there is no error is 2s clear. what am I doing wrong?
Do I have to pass level X-50 in the "original" version, without a mod?
