Help! Debug app for Android?

Sure anyone can use the gg method which most games today are useless within that style or choice of entry to mod and gain scripts..I want to learn more and practice and become more independent with modding and helping others .got into a discussion the other day with a modder here and it dawned on me that I've been using the wrong tools..sure I can slap a debug app on my PC and search for functions ( I know nothing period about coding) to use like for practice since I'm normally at work and with many times a day with time on my hands ide like to know if there is a debugging app I can install for Android that is completely dependant on Android alone without using a PC that I can search out proxy ,values and such..also if there is ( I don't mind paying for service of an app since if something is worth it I don't complain if it's getting there) a way to mod directly or at least explore areas to make arguments and such or heck even learn how to speak the lingo so I can help myself more with mods??

I don't get what exactly your desire is but read below.

- You don't need coding to mod Android games, but you do need a PC
- As far as I know, or as far as debugging apps today are, Game Guardian is without a doubt the best one
- If your'e phone is rooted, you can make more mods and use more tools than a phone that isn't rooted
- Other android exclusive memory tools include SB Game Hacker, Game Killer, GameCIH, Cheat Engine, Lucky Patcher + Freedom maybe useful for some games.
- APK Editor Pro is also a good app but you won't be able to read/write memory [example coins, gems, health]

if u need more help, reply

Thanks so much..I tried apk editor pro today and was able to change outside things like name of the game and also browse files and such even a few that could be modded internally BUT, like you said without root and PC I wasn't able to actually change the normal things we can change in games today or at least the more popular ones..heck I tried lol .I'm very ignorant in the mod game and was looking for something really to explore and learn how to read and know what to look for while I was bored at work..but you are correct ? I found that out today..I actually have gone back to gg this week after some years away from it and geez alot has changed and there is so many tools out there now but in the same token so much has been added as in security to keep us from retrieving that which we want haha.. thanks for the response. That was very helpful

Glad to hear that I helped, so do you have a PC or no?
REMEMBER for ***90%**** of games, you can't hack functions by using APK Editor Pro, but as u said you can make other file modifications.
you can go even further and add splash screens, dialogs, snippets, toasts and much more.
and if you come across some problems/concerns, feel free to give me feedback.

I use my PC at home and have some basic tools on it..saw some vid today with being able to change or make toast types and such with the APK edit pro..course the vid made it out like I could more with it..but it was handy in changing how the icon of the actual apk shows on a device and renaming and such which I thought was pretty cool..but I was hoping I could do more like d.l internal scripts and such like gg could do..I guess the main point of this topic in the beginning was to find easy or learn if there was a way to modify files while at work away from my personal pc and rooted device that I would normally use..however the APK editor I also had to run on a virtual space since it wasn't ( device) rooted but I figured I was gonna have that issue when certain things I needed some way to bypass some of the files security..but it was very educational as far pushing the limits of a non root standard without using game guardian ?

hmm okay now I understand what you wanted.
You want to make internal scripts, but knowing that you have a pc it's much better to make a mod menu with Android Studio because on gg you can't hack lot of things nowadays.
if you want to learn that, tell me

For mods above subway surfer you need for sure know how to code.
Doesn't matter which modding site, all people which do the vip mods on sites like this know how atleast 1 full language, when not even 5+, some 10+ languages. You can't break any hard protection without knowing how to code lol.
Or even to protected your own mod from leechers.

@Wiccan
Besides that, my way would be:

1. Watch Youtube Videos about basic programming in java, c#, c++ ( all really similiar )
2. MAYBE do some courses on udemy
3. Mod the hell out of it. Don't mean 10 Minutes a day, i mean 10 hours a day when you have a free day lol keep improving your knowledge and collect more and more experience with different type of games.
Don't mod only 1 type of game. Sure, people like Jasmur do that, but he has like 100 years more programming and modding knowledge than we have haha So he can decide by his own.
4. Don't try extreme hard games at the beginning. You will not have any success and you will be frustrated after some time. Start with easy games, move to games with root protection, move to games with google signature protection, move to games with codestage protection etc.
5. NEVER LEECH ANYTHING. Even " naa i just looked 1 minute into his code" is leeching and brings you NOTHING. You just copy & paste stuff, but you will never learn how it actually works and WHY it works like it does.

Nailed it!! My wife's said as well I should aswell go pick up a seasonal course or 2 ..I also feel strongly about not copy paste as well..I hated myself enough about learning the simple ones by watching and copying others work like using gg for subway surfer or cracking fb games like shadows of Rome with Charles proxy many years ago before code got more technical ..it wasn't my own so I never got that fulfilled honest work myself..course I never posted them for others to play but it wasn't by my design. I guess my true point here i was wanting to go the easy route and learn while at work or at least educating myself at work on learning how to read code.. up until the other day I didn't realize that it takes years to learn some code just to change amdake arguments and such ..my friend also ( who is cad guy) said if you copy someone elts work without learning code your entire self respect is gone in the wind .also suggested if you wanna truly learn how to mod like the pro is to invest in taking courses and read read read read read read until then have playing them..I pretty much got lectured just for enquiry of this topic I posted aswell hahaha..thanks @DaRealPanDa and everyone elts for your input and ive summed up that I think I may make time to actually know what I'm looking at before I end up with a big mess lol..

Panda wasn't trying to prevent me from modding or saying you or I wasn't truly modding..panda was just being hard on me..he's just making sure while I'm a baby in modding and impressionable that I don't fall to the dark side and that I get myself fully aware while I educate myself he wasn't trying to knock what we've done before ?

i'm nearly a professional developer too lul im in an intership for specialist for application developing :face12:
But besides that, the "easiest" way is first to learn modding with the Tutorials in our Section, i learned everything with them too.
Then just mod games for a couple of months, your knowledge will automaticlly improve because you will see a ton of different ways how to do the same stuff just with another construct, you will see tons of different data types and coding styles and everything. And besides these stuff you can do 1-2 courses on udemy, they are pretty cheap. i made some of them too and it helped me a lot. Currently i learn java and tomorrow i will play a bit with a Rasberry PI.
The only hard thing in this scene is to find motivation to learn stuff by yourself which no one force you to learn ( like you was forced to learn for school or anything else ).
But besides the motivation everyone can learn modding and can learn programming.

Edit: And when you want to learn modding while you are on the way to school, work or anything else you could use the Application " Sololearn ".

Yeah but it's random how good this courses are. I have bought 10 or 20 courses, made 3-4 until now and one of them was already totally Bullshit. But hey, they cost only 7-15€/$ which is cheaper than any programming book here in my country lol

I saw their Amazon cloud platform courses .Uber cheap..think I may need the one before that class that's recommend to more my need..most of y'all are already developer lol..I create tapas and then make sure everyone elts does their job..but so so Def interested in taking some of those courses..my wife feels very strong about it for me ? So hard with full time job and kids but I'm willing to make small sacrafice if it's rewards are worth in the end..saw one guy bragging he took the main test in passes it in 45 min on final test. It would look damn good on my resume though even the aws certificate
