What you can do if you don't have rooted device and you're not on emulator is to update your modded game like normal take all info of your account (user id / user lvl / user name / teams / how much dragon stone you have / ect ect) then mail bandai for account recovery you can check on internet if you need more info and the bandai mail i think dokkan reddit have a thread on it.

To update you will do as before nothing changes!! Don't change your phone or connect to an emulator and you should be fine. Otherwise you will have to root and it's more complex and then take the unsigned version.

If you already linked your account to your FB account before, what I did was download the official one on my spare phone, transfer the account there via FB login and link my Google account, then transfer back to the modded apk via the linked FB account. Linking to your Google account doesn't remove the FB link. Once it gets removed though, you'll either need to root your phone or play on an emulator for the modded apk.

Yeah it would love to go back to root unfortunately too many apps have an issue with it nowadays and even hiding didn't work for certain apps... I wonder if I could save the data and just reinstall the official APK but I guess the data folder name different. I got both linked and I'm switching between emu and phone. Just curious about the future regarding the linking changes.
