Notice Regarding Antivirus Detection
Hello Elora Mages!
We’ve received reports from some players that our game files are being flagged as Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml by Windows Defender. We'd like to clarify the following:
Our game is completely safe to use
There are no viruses, malware, or harmful programs in the game files
This is a false positive — a mistaken detection due to certain scripts or protective measures used in the game
Why is this happening?
Some antivirus programs, especially Windows Defender, tend to be overly sensitive to:
Scripted or automated files (like updaters)
Protected or packed executables
Online connections used by the game
This is common in many indie and private server games like Elora's Mage.
What Players Can Do:
Add the game folder to your antivirus exclusion/whitelist.
If the file was already deleted by your antivirus, please re-extract the installer files and whitelist them before launching.
We recommend using other antivirus programs like Avast, AVG, or BitDefender if issues persist.
