Finding the right offsets or knowing what I should be looking for seems to be the problem, since I am currently in 8 ball pool looking for the long line method, where you just extend the guideline to huge values and call it a day! Now I have gone through the basics and know how to edit basic stuff and make the returns of a function return the desired number. My current issue is I don't know where to look for functions or usable values, since stuff like "guideline" leads me to the string itself and XREF leads me to a function of 5 lines with just length taking of the string itself, meaning it probably doesn't have s*** to do with the real value.
Now the main information I would love is:
1. Where would I look for editable functions other than cross referencing strings to functions?
2. Could anything other than functions be editable and how so?
3. How to advance? (meaning how to move on to harder things and learning more)
