For people asking for updates, find an unlocked latest version apk. Copy the quest folders and overwrite any new ones, make aure to only overwrite the same files to not miss out of there's new missions. Then build the apk. One more tip to keep progression for further manual updates, use apkeditor to make minor changes like changing the name before installing any new games so the "Signatures" from the app is the same from apkeditor. So when you get a new modded version, you can just rename the new app in apkeditor and update the previous app.
