The problem really is that you may not make points or do decent things, but when you log in it sends you directly to a group, and you can run the risk that if a user in your group is reported, JC will review each of the accounts in That group, I don't know if it was understood well.
Regarding this, I have no idea, it happened to me that I couldn't update to the latest version because it doesn't complete, it gives me an error.
If you started playing without logging in to facebook from the modded game, unfortunately it is not possible.
Doesn't matter how carefully you play through the event. If someone else in your group gets reported because they're cheating in a more brazen way, Jam City takes everyone in that group, including you, and starts checking all of your accounts for discrepancies. They'll check your history, see you've been using (or have previously used) a modified .apk, and in a matter of days, you get banned. That's the real reason why we tell people not to play during Full Marks or House Pride. It's not a guaranteed ban, but it comes with a significantly elevated risk. All it takes is one person to fuck it up for you. Better safe than sorry.

Updates are rolled out in waves to random users to avoid issues like last month's global Crowdstrike failure. They have to make sure it's as bug-free as possible before everyone else gets it, it's common sense. You just have to be patient. Find something else to do in the meantime.
