In the past I traveled a few times to USA and I've changed my android play store country to USA but right now I live in Eastern Europe. For example when the FM triggered at 10 pm utc on 27th of January did the game triggered the event according to my play store country which is USA or the country I currently live in? Before you say anything NO, I DIDN'T ENTER the game to risk getting expelled from Hogwarts with the Banhammer just to check this. Thank you.

I would think event triggers at whatever time zone you are in based way

i guess ive been very lucky, bc ive played everyday since february and have not been banned during FM, i wonder if you need to click a panel for it to register as part of the group

Jam City is an American company, so the event start/end times vary whether or not DST is active. Right now, DST is off, so all events start and end around 10pm UTC. When DST begins in March, that time will shift to 9pm UTC. You'll have to convert that to your local timezone. Your location does not influence your eligibility to participate in events. UTC is Universal Coordinated Time. It's a timezone like all the others.

That's what we call "survivorship bias", and I implore you not to rely on it. Just because you were lucky in the past doesn't mean you're going to get lucky again. You never truly know when someone in your FM group is going to get reported until it's too late.

And no, there's not a specific menu you have to interact with to join a group. The very instant you finish loading into the game, you're placed in a group. With House Pride, it's slightly different - you don't get placed in a group until you perform any action that earns you House Points. But since there are so many ways to earn House Points, even accidentally, it's not worth the risk at all.

Google play store country only determines what contents available in your store. So Valmort was right. Your in-game's clock is subjected to whatever local time zone you are in. Using VPN also doesn't influence your device's system clock. Unless, your VPN has a feature that allows you to change your time zone manually.

totally get it, ive lost my data bc of a google account error so like. im not super attached to the account im on until i reach where i was

It is Full Marks event ongoing right now. you don't need an update, as you are strongly recommended not to launch the game during this event.

I saw how update is as i use ios as well as this mod so i wouldnt be curious one also until google play shows 6.3.0. we cant get update here anyway

Update is not yet in google play store so no need for anyone to ask for update today and don't forget that FM is still active and we are better off not in game and with our accounts intact than banned like my former main.
