Speaking of money, I think in one of the datamine prophets from a few months ago, it said something like a VIP membership coming to the game.
I don't know if they canceled it or what happened in the end with that.

Yep, the subscription thingy. Dunno what's happened with it. But, just as Valmort says, it might lock a few things behind the premium gate. If this is implemented in the future, expect for more people quitting this game.

I'm not sure what they might have, I guess some exclusive pet designs, outfits and tappies. But in addition to that, I think they would benefit more from the issue of progress, both in energy and gold, you know, 50% more of this, 70% discount on that, and those things, they could advance faster.
I'm not speaking for us because we don't care about those things, what can "bother" us is not having exclusive things through payment.

Idk if it has happened to them, but when they discover a good game that doesn't have these VIP things, when they incorporate it, coincidentally the majority (not all) begin to decline popularly, ending in a finished and highly criticized game.
I hope it doesn't happen here xD :(

They probably do, any game that uses mod/hack and uses payment methods already exposes your account. In this case, if you use a clean account and buy the VIP and then use the mod, I honestly don't think it will last long.

It's not risky, it's just that replacing this thread with a Discord server isn't really necessary when the thread is already sufficient enough for people to browse for updates, info, and warnings about upcoming events.

As a reminder, Daylight Savings Time begins in the US one week from today. Because Jam City is an American company, that means the time that events start/end will switch from 10pm UTC to 9pm UTC so that the time remains the same for American players. This will remain in effect until early November.

While I think it’d be nice to have our own DC, for upcoming events, content, and SQs, the HPHM fandom on Reddit and Discord is enough for us. As long as you set push notifications on Discord, you’re unlikely to miss anything. Plus, this thread is already a good place to discuss the mod.

Yes. It would become a problem when F2P players couldn't get anything through a little bit effort just because they refuse to pay a single cent when most events nowadays are already unachievable.

We can't help you if you're using a mod from another site, because we don't know what (if anything) is different. G-bo hasn't released his update for 6.4.0 yet, likely because he hasn't gotten access to the vanilla .apk yet.

Yes. It would become a problem when F2P players couldn't get anything through a little bit effort just because they refuse to pay a single cent when most events nowadays are already unachievable.

I think that if it becomes like this in the near future, the best thing they could do to not stop playing is to give priority to the TLSQs that really serve or that affect the story with some dialogue or a spell (and even then it is still optional), because it is too much content for someone who does not use mods and is just starting or has only been playing for a few years, and just as you say, sometimes they invest a lot of time without being rewarded.
From what I understand, there are some energy offers that people criticize, in case being VIP "helps" the f2p community on this, I think it could be a positive thing for them.

But anyway, it's better if they get tired and come to this side of the moon .

That's the result of A/B testing. Whenever a new update is launched, 50% of players are randomly selected to receive the update right away, while the other 50% will have the update delayed. That way, if there's a major, game-breaking bug in the update, it'll only affect half of the userbase instead of the whole userbase. Then they can release a hotfix for the bug before it affects the rest of the userbase. Remember the Crowdstrike outage of 2024? That's what happens when developers don't do A/B testing.

If you're unlucky enough to be part of that 50% that gets selected for the update immediately, your best bet is to take a little break from the game and wait for G-bo to release the updated mod. Be patient. He'll get to it when he can.
