Though, I'm still confused on how people are switching between vanilla and modded versions of the game. I was under the impression that you couldn't have both installed at the same time. Are y'all just deleting the modded game and redownloading the regular game?

If you play the game during multi-player events like Full Marks "FM" or House Pride "HP" you get sorted into a group of players that compete for points by doing certain tasks for eventual rewards. The nasty part is that sometimes some players from that group you were sorted into might get reported by an offended player that has little points therfore the game officials will search every account in that group and they will find you 100% if you are using the mod or if you modified your coins/gems/energy etc. and you will be banned.
1. Never log in during FM event.
2. If you log in during HP don't worry just don't do anything that might give you house points, just feed your creatures, tend to your plants and hangout with friends and that's all.
3. Never think that nothing will happen to you because you were lucky if you logged in and you didn't get banned. Sooner or later they will find you.
