@Ragnii, thanks for your input. From now on, I won't choose any options with house points in it, deducts or not. It may be some TLSQs do count or even the player year itself. For the record, my alts are Y6 and Y3, both have chosen options that deduct house points, both didn't get sorted into the event thereafter (in two consecutive HP this time around)

Thankfully, I have never assigned my main with any TLSQs that have house-points rewards even though I'm confident with my knowledge with this game. I'm not gonna take the risk with my main.

yea i think is best we refrain from touching even house points deduction quests at all unless we can have no house points option.

My intention is to get my Y6 to Beyond so I have two advanced accounts with different perspective. The Y3 account is there to see any difference with the newly released contents before Y6C18. That's why I won't progress my Y3 account get past that point.

Well, looks like I do need to restrain myself from experimenting on my Y6 since I want to advance it. Although it's not as old as my main, I made it at the end of 2022, so it's not exactly new either. I hope I can take them far in this game

I got my answer. I just needed to make sure not to get 5 stars, and to pick the middle option when on Task 1 of Part 4 of Become an Animagus, and no house points will be awarded.

Um, did you not get our point? Completing the tasks themselves is safe as they won't reward you house points; they're not story classes after all. What you need to watch out is answers that can award/deduct you house points. Avoid them at all costs.

You are save to get max stars you need to pay attention to options we get to answer with something as they sometimes deduce or give house points

Wow, what a strange glitch! And here I've been happily attribute farming during the current House Pride by starting 8 hour classes and purposefully using gems to fail them after reaching 2 stars (always leads to a deduction of 2 house points).

Also, I need to share some celebratory news with you guys! Ever since I started replaying this game, this is the first ever time I managed to avoid the House Pride event, thanks to Taltos19's advance warning on Reddit. Good start to July!

Also, has anyone checked whether the rewards shown on Hogwarts Cafe walkthroughs correctly include house points that can be awarded or deducted? I know I'm supposed to use the spreadsheet, but it's very difficult to navigate on my phone and I don't always have the laptop handy.

Edit: Also omg, JC need to stop pushing so many updates! They went from 660 to 661 to 663 in the span of a few days?
