I was in Beyond V2 as well. If I have to start over when they finally stop running MP events I will but I figure I may as well try and rescue my save first

you can always try to keep 2 version below current last update to prevent new events from coming when MP events are here.

As I understand there are FM one after another? I left the game untouched for like a month, decided to consider gatting back - FM queue still didn't end. I guess I will wait for another month.

Multiplayer events in general are continuously rerun in summer. Jam City's prime demographic (and ergo their prime money-making source) is children. In North America, children don't go to school in summer. Their parents plop them down in front of a tablet for sixteen hours a day so they get addicted to mobile games and Cocomelon. Full Marks and House Pride are among their most revenue-generating events because of their competitive nature, so they take advantage of all the kids who have access to their parents' credit cards by repeating these events week after week, because they're more likely to spend money on things like gems.

None of this is hyperbole. This is the best time of year to take an extended break from the game. Come back in early/mid September when all of the kids are back in school and you'll find that the multiplayer events have stopped.
