Once I had just started a new game on the original Google Play game, connected to FB, but when I switched to the APK, it didn't work. So I deleted the game, downloaded the APK and started a new game.

well you would need 5.2.2 version but since you would end u clearing all the game data to make it shut up about upgrade(thanks JC for that) it would just restart progress but yea contacting JC support is ban for all of us here

I unfortunately cant do shit about my year 6 alt save unless me deleting it and using vanilla to log fb would work(without deleting progress) xD8and relog fb via means shown here)

That's why we have a detailed guide on how to port your Facebook save to the mod. Which is also linked in the aforementioned FAQ post.

Like I said, your only options now are to hope that it gets patched in a future release or start over on a brand new save (and link it to Facebook BEFORE you start modding again). Sorry. Good luck.

Can the Jelly Legs Curse be cast in the story? In this chapter, we must cast this curse on Merula along with another one Ben casts. My question arises because, as everyone knows, Tonks's Mini-TLSQ was recently cast to learn that curse and use it in a duel. It turns out that my protagonist says in this chapter of the story that she hasn't learned that curse, which is a mistake because I claimed it long before reaching this chapter of the story, so I don't understand.
I did some research and saw that if she does learn it, the dialogue mentions that Tonks teaches us this curse so we can cast it on Merula.

Too much text, but I just found all this strange because it's not a technical error in the game, and it all seemed like a coincidence. If they hadn't cast that TLSQ recently, maybe I wouldn't have learned the curse, and maybe the same thing would have happened to me. However, since the TLSQ happened and I was able to get it long before I got here, the same thing happened to me.

That's just classic Jam City writing jank. The continuity of the main quest vs. TLSQs is tenuous at best. I treat most TLSQs as anime filler content: dubiously canon, but a fun thing to enjoy on the side when you need a break from the seriousness of the plot.

It still seems strange to me, it's as if obtaining that spell wasn't valid back then, it didn't count as learned.
An example would be learning episkey through SQ and having story mode say you can't do it lol.
