What is everyone doing to fulfil there time whilst waiting for these multiplayer events to finish?

Got emulation on my Steam Deck running. Been playing a bunch of retro stuff to see what works and what doesn't.

In summertime, multiplayer events are non-stop. Come back in September when all the children are back in school.

This is not an exaggeration. This is the time of year when Jam City preys upon minors with access to their parents' credit cards and people with loose financial inhibitions, so they spam as many multiplayer events as possible. When autumn rolls around, things will go back to normal.

those parents usually give credit card tied to specific device for purchases but since they forget to remove it after purchase they approved kids might just keep using it on device ever time real money payment is asked from game on device xD

See the "people with loose financial inhibitions" part. That extends to parents who let their kids buy whatever they want.

Bear in mind that this phenomenon is far more frequent in North America. Jam City, being an American company, usually has these events synchronized with summer vacation in the United States. That tends to mean early June to late August, but sometimes as late as September.

It's already happening in the last two or three HPs. As Bob says, it's just a happy little glitch
