i dont recall any task requiring that for my non-accessible v2 main(v2 beyond)

Yeah, I just checked my game. I still got the Harvest Pass. I thought you'd have to update first to get it. You can still buy Bursting Mushrooms with gems, but with the key pass locked behind a paywall, I don't think this game can really be called f2p anymore. Maybe semi-f2p at best.
