First off, not a single person reported this thread before, so the claim "the modder knows about it from reports" is false.
However, the report is correct. As soon as you reach the point in the story where you have to do a base raid aka right after reachon region 3, you start the base raid, the game freezes and it closes after like 20 seconds.
