The mandatory update is on 1.0.13 update. You can either use 1.0.13 or the latest 1.0.15 though the latest requires you to turn off DevMode on your phone.

The devs were talking about the Obey Me Nightbringer... The devs hate it when things about the game are leaked.
They have warned the players before, it takes courage to post this on social media. I think they got what they deserved. I wonder how Solmare tracked them down

On Developer Mode on your phone, turn off USB Debugging mode before launching the game.
