The First line in the Tutorial says " no root " bud lol
You can use VMOS on any non rooted devices and you will be able to install unsigned Mods,patch your Android with Lucky Patcher, use Game Guardian and even more.

Nope VMOS will not work on emulator and don't expect you can use VMOS to spoof on emulator lol
