I’ve tried it out... The mod does deliver on its promises—there are no in-game ads—but ads appear inevitably when you want to move on to the next act. On the other hand, having unlimited diamonds is pointless since they don't have much utility; what you really need in the game are the coins used to skip ahead to the next act, and those can only be bought in the store with real money.
